Library of the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences

The library primarily serves the educational and instructional needs of students, faculty, and staff of the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, the library is open to the public.

The library provides a wide range of library instructions to further information literacy, it offers personal help and public lectures on information and knowledge management. Furthermore it services an institutional repository and university bibliography.

Central focus of the acquisition and collection development is to support all higher education activities at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. The collection covers the fields

  • architecture, civil engineering, geomatics;
  • computer science and engineering;
  • economics, law;
  • Social work, nursing and health.





Library Visits


The library holds over 200.000 books, nearly 500 print journals and subscribes to more than 40.000 e-books, e-journals and databases. They are complemented by over 20.000 historical books and journals on social work and nursing in the library’s Historical Collection.
