Closing Ceremony
The Closing Ceremony will take place at 12:00 on Friday, 29.05.2015 in room St. Petersburg. Among other things, the best poster presentations will be awarded there.

Company presentations
Company presentations will take place on Wednesday, 27.05.2015 and Thursday, 28.05.2015 between 12:15 – 13:15. Detailed information will be provided in the main program of the Congress.

Conference Bags
Conference bags with all conference materials including the program will be available at the congress bag counter in the area between NCC and the exhibition area. Here you can also collect your lanyard (sponsored by OCLC GmbH) for your name badge.

Congress News
The “B.I.T. Online Conference news” will appear daily and show the latest posts on convention events, general information and any last-minute program changes. It is available free of charge at key points.

Congress Party
The Congress Party will take place on Thursday, 28.05.2015, from 19:30 in PARKS in the city park Nuremberg (Berliner Platz 9, 90409 Nuremberg).

Participation is only possible with a ticket that can be pre-booked with the registration. Remaining tickets will be sold at the registration counter. The cost is 40.00 EUR per person (incl. food and beverages). Seating cannot be guaranteed.

The exhibition will be held in exhibition hall 4A and opens on Tuesday, 26.05.2015, 12:00.

Access is possible only with a valid name badge.

“First-timer” meeting of the BIB
The BIB “first-timer” meeting will be held on Tuesday, 26.05.2015 13:30 – 15:30 in the room Hong Kong (level 2). Here tips will be given for new participants at the congress and other interested parties (with a tour of the convention center and get-together with a welcome drink).

The number of participants is limited, therefore a free registration via the online registration form is required.

Food & Beverages
There are two food stations in the exhibition hall 4A and an addional station for beverages at NCC Ost (level 2). Bringing food and beverages into the venue is not allowed.

Internet cafe
The internet cafe is located in the exhibition area and free of charge for all participants.

Library visits
As part of the 104. Bibliothekartag a number of library visits will take place. All details can be found under the menu item “program” on the congress website in German.

List of participants
The list of participants is part of the conference pack and is also available online under the “Registration” section.

Lost & Found
Items will kept in the cloakroom at NCC Ost.

Media Preparation
All speakers are requested to submit their presentation up to 2 hours before the session in the media preparation room. The lectures will be stored on a network in the lecture rooms, so that each speaker only has to open their lecture only on the computer in the lecture room. Speakers are not allowed to bring their own computers or sticks in the lecture rooms.

Mobile Libraries
Once again some mobile libraries will take part in the 104. Bibliothekartag. The buses run from Wednesday, 27.05.2015, 09:00 – 18:00 in the courtyard in front of the exhibition hall 4A.

Furthermore, there is a session on mobile libraries in the Hong Kong area (Level 2)
on Wednesday, 27.05.2015, 13:30 – 15:30:

Name badge
All participants from Germany, Austria and the Switzerland will receive their name badge (sponsored by Massmann International Bookshop GmbH) by post to the address given when registering before Congress. Participants from other countries will receive their name badge at the registration counter in the NCC Ost.
The lanyards (sponsored by OCLC GmbH) are available at the congress bags counter in NCC Ost.

Opening of the exhibition
The exhibition in Hall 4A will open on Tuesday, 26.05.2015 at 12:00.

Opening of the Congress
The congress will open on Tuesday, 26.05.2015 at 18:30 in the room Tokio (Level 3).
A separate registration is not required for admission. The name badge is sufficient.

German Librarians Association (VDB)

The booth of the Associations is located in the exhibition area in hall 4A.

Sufficient parking is possible in the “Große Straße”. Parking costs 9,00 EUR per car and day.

Plug and Work Lounge
Thanks to the support of ekz bibliotheksservice service all participants will have the opportunity to recharge their mobile devices such as phones or laptops for free in the Plug and Work Lounge. The lounge is located in the exhibition area.

Podium der Verbände
The “Podium der Verbände” is located in the exhibition area in hall 4A.

Poster presentation
There are posters about all conference themes in the exhibition area on 27.05.2015 and 28.05.2015. The presentations of posters will be held 12:15 – 13:15h on these two days. All participants will have the opportunity to talk with the poster authors then.

Product Presentations / Hot Topic Sessions
Short product presentations and Hot Topic Sessions will be held in the exhibition area. An overview can be found in the main program of the Congress under “Hot Topic Sessions”.

Public Transportation
Tickets for the public transportation system VGN for the zones City Nuremberg/Fürth/ Stein (zones 100/200) are included in the registration fees. The ticket is valid between 26.-29.05.2015.

The wardrobe for storing clothes and suitcases is located in the entrance foyer in the NCC Ost. The fee is 1,00 EUR per piece. In addition, several lockers are available.

Participants have free Wi-Fi throughout the exhibition and meeting area. The login will be provided in due course.
